Day 17... The Lenten Journey Continues...

One of them, an expert in the Law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

     ~Matthew 22:35-40

Do all the good you can,
By all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.

     ~John Wesley

As you reflect back on how today has gone, how have you done in the categories of loving God and loving others?

doing good...

As a new work week began for many people today, remember these words from John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. I pray they will color your actions and interactions with others, helping you to show God's love to others.

"Do all the good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can."
~John Wesley
